Kaz is an award-winning commercial music studio that specializes in custom music. When they approached Shion, they needed a new identity and website to set themselves apart from the music industry’s multitude of competitors.

We created an identity around synesthesia – the idea of seeing sound. Using an abstract, ever-changing shape, we implied Kaz’s intuitive ability to understand and create music that resonates on a deeper level.

An identity around the idea of seeing sound
Kaz’s branding was inspired by synesthesia, or the ability to see sound. To convey this, we created an abstract, amorphous shape that represents Kaz’s ability create all kinds of music out of anything.
